Many successful measures for recruiting trainees, such as school cooperations, company explorations, trial internships and schools' own education fairs have been on hold for more than a year due to Corona. So, what can be done? As a traditional family business, JUMO always has the next generation of skilled workers in mind and is therefore holding the JUMO Education Days, a two-day digital education fair, for the first time.

JUMO sees itself as having a responsibility to help young people with their career orientation and to make them aware of the many opportunities within the group of companies. Because in the coming year, JUMO will again provide a large number of attractive apprenticeship positions and is looking for suitable apprentices for training or dual studies in the company. The portfolio of the measurement and control technology specialist includes a total of ten apprenticeships and five dual bachelor’s degree courses.

Interested students, parents or teachers can visit the JUMO Education Days from the comfort of their own home via PC, tablet or smartphone and - just like at a real trade fair - exchange information with trainers, apprentices and students in a live chat. There is also an extensive live programme in which trainees from various professions give insights into the theoretical and practical part of their training. In addition, former trainees will report on their professional careers to date and point out possible perspectives after their training.

All presentations and interviews will be recorded and can be accessed at any time during the two-day event. In addition, the platform offers a wide range of downloadable information and videos on the topic of training and dual studies at JUMO.

Participation in the JUMO Education Days is of course free of charge. Visitors only need to register at this address: http://educationdays.jumo.info
